The board of Coaching Highland is made up of 5 Directors, a Company Secretary and 3 Observers. The Directors are elected by the company’s members who are the 8 local sports councils in the Highland Council area.

Hugh MacKayFounder member of the Scottish Police Curling Association in 1972 and served as Treasurer and latterly as Chairman of the Association. Is a past treasurer of Ross & Cromarty Sports Council and for many years chaired the Highland Curling Development Group at Inverness Rink. In addition, Hugh is a past president of Caberfeidh Curling Club, Ross-shire Curling Province and from 2000 to 2004 served on the council of the Royal Caledonian Curling Club. He also serves as Vice Chairman of Highland Sports Devlopment Association and was a founder Director of Coaching Highland having previously servedon the executive of Gael Force Ten. |

Catriona StrivensAs a sports graduate from the University of Kent and a coach in several sports, Catriona was previously involved in Sports Development and worked closely with the original Gael Force Ten. She is now chair of the Badenoch and Strathspey Sports council and is interested in the development of cycling and Mountain Biking, seeing Wolfpax Riders through the Go-ride Clubmark award and interested in club development. Now an Employment Liaison Officer working with the Disabled she is keen to see the development of coaching continue and grow within the Highlands.

Allan MacLennanAllan is a Bank Manager based in Dingwall and played for and held committee positions in Ross Sutherland, Highland and Midland Bank Rugby Clubs. He has been involved in Curling since 1966 and was a founder member of the Scottish Universities Curling Club and the University of Aberdeen Curling Club where he was awarded a Curling Blue in 1976. He is still actively involved with curling clubs in Inverness, Ross, and Sutherland Provinces as a player and a coach. A former Scottish Senior Curling Champion he represented Scotland at the Senior World Curling Championships in 2006 and 2008 and was National Club Champion in 2009. He is currently Treasurer of the North Highland Curling Trust and President of the RCCC Sutherland Curling Province. |
